II. Why we should use Magic Sun Cream?

1) Protect skin from both ultraviolet A and ultraviolet B.

This is enough to intercept harmful UVA and UVB all through the year including summer.

III. Why sun cream should intercept UVA and UVB together?

- SPF(sun protection factor) and PA(Protection Grade of UVA)

Ultraviolet rays are divided into UVA(wavelength 315~400nm), UVB(wavelength 280~315nm) and UVC( wavelength 100~280nm).
The most harmful ultraviolet C is absorbed into ozone layer.

So actually UVA and UVB affect human body.

UVA passes deep into skin and makes melanic pigment cling to skin.

In result it makes your skin darker.

UVB is especially strong in summer and causes erythema(redness of the skin) and sunburn.

It decreases skin elasticity and causes skin aging.

* Melanin: A skin pigment with dark brown color (substance that gives the skin its color).

- UVA protection factor is PA.

PA is indicated as +(one plus), ++(two plus) and +++(three plus).

PA + means it can intercept ultraviolet A for 2~4 hours.

PA ++ for 4~8 hours and PA+++ for more than 8 hours.

The more plus, the stronger protection effect.

- UVB protection factor is SPF.

SPF number means how long the product protects skin from the sun.

When skin is exposed to ultraviolet rays, it takes 15 minutes on the average for a person to get erythema(redness of the skin).

SPF 1 means it can intercept ultraviolet B for approx. 15 minutes.

(SPF 10: 150minutes(10X15) / SPF 20: 300minutes(20X15) SPF 30: 450minutes(30X15)

SPF 40: 600minutes(40X15) )

IV. How to Use Sun Cream (3-3-3 Rule)

1) Apply sun cream 30 minutes before going out.

Let skin absorb ingredients of sun cream enough.

2) It is good to choose sun cream with over SPF 30.

The amount people usually use in daily life is much less than the amount used on SPF measure test.

Accordingly only 20~30 % of SPF indicated on product works.

3) Reapply every 3~4 hours.
Sweat or water wash away sun cream as time goes by.
